To enroll your dog in Cedar Paws Boarding and Daycare, you can reach out to us via text or email. We also require a copy of your dog's vaccination records before booking.

No, we do not have any breed restrictions. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes as long as they are friendly and well-behaved around other dogs.

If your dog gets sick or injured while in our care, we will immediately contact you and take your dog to the veterinarian of your choice if they are available. If not, we have a close by emergency vet. We will also provide updates on your dog's condition and follow any instructions from the vet.

During nighttime and in severe weather, the dogs are brought indoors where they can enjoy a spacious room furnished with dog beds and toys. They also have access to our bedroom, where they can relax and even watch TV with us. Unless requested by the owner, we avoid crating dogs, we understand that many dogs do not thrive in kennel environments.

You should bring your dog's food, any medications they require (clearly labeled with instructions), and a favorite treat. (Please no chews/rawhides/long lasting treats.) You can also bring any special instructions or preferences your dog may have. Please refrain from bringing any items such as dog beds, blankets, rawhides, long-lasting chews, toys, or anything else that carries a familiar scent from home. Even the most sociable dogs can exhibit resource guarding behavior, and we aim to prevent any such occurrences.

When dogs are fed their meals, they are kept completely separated. We understand that some dogs may have allergies, preferences against sharing, or dietary restrictions that require careful management. No one receives food or treats that are not meant for them.

If your dog requires special medical attention, whether for physical needs or otherwise, we are equipped to accommodate them. We have experience administering both oral and injected medications. Deaf, blind, and physically disabled dogs have seamlessly integrated into our Cedar Paws pack. We cannot take wheelchair dogs or L-XL immobile dogs due to stairs.

We understand the importance of peace of mind. You are welcome to text or email us during business hours to check on your dog's well-being.  We do provide photo updates six days a week within business hours. We can provide updates on their activities and behavior upon reasonable request within hours.

For the safety of all our guests, yes. All boarding dogs are required to have up-to-date vaccinations (unless of medical exemption).

For boarding reservations during holidays, we recommend securing your spot more than one month in advance for guaranteed availability, or two weeks for non holiday days. For major holiday weeks or weekends, we advise booking 2-4 months ahead due to high demand. Please plan accordingly.

Dogs over one year are required to be spayed or neutered. Unaltered dogs will be separated in a playpen or crate at night for safety. We understand there are medical exceptions to altering dogs. Please contact us if you have further questions.
